Purple Eclipse was born through a desire to overcome the stigma often associated with recruitment or recruitment firms. Our open, human approach to our business, along with the rapport we build with our clients and candidates and our 'unique aded value' is what makes us different.

Louisa O'Donnell - Business Director

An impressive career to date, with 20 years of operational, sales & recruitment experience within Travel, Hospitality, Hotels and FMCG sectors.

Louisa started her career as a Sales Consultant for American Dream Holidays, a specialist tour operator tailoring holidays in the United States. Her desire to travel led her to move abroad and enjoy a successful, 10 year career within the international cruise industry.

Based in the United States, Louisa worked onboard the super liners of Carnival Cruise Lines. She held a number of senior operational positions before achieving promotion to Chief Purser, where she was responsible for a multi-cultural team of 20 front office staff, as well as managing all the onboard revenue and onboard guest service issues of up to 3000 guests each cruise.

Sharon Burkey - Business Director

Sharon has over 14 years experience as a sales and marketing specialist in the UK and international markets. With an impressive career to date her industry experience spans across the Travel, Hospitality, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical and FMCG markets.

After enjoying several successful years as an international sales and marketing specialist of events, for both leading tour operators and luxury hotels, Sharon was approached to head up the sales and marketing function for one of the most exclusive and luxurious catamaran companies. With her extensive experience, and flare for both sales and marketing, she was approached and joined one of the UK's leading international hospitality recruitment & executive search companies, where she was responsible for international search assignments and business relations within the Hospitality and Leisure markets.
