The flagship property of one of the UK's top 3 hotel groups.  This luxury hotel resort offers elegance, luxury and beauty, proudly nestled in breathtaking surroundings beside a famous Loch, just north of Glasgow. The resort offers everything from golfing, spa & pampering facilities, fine dining, outdoor adventure and impressive conference & meeting facilities.  The resort enjoys both UK & international business and is the most prestigious and key property for this hugley successful group.

Overview

As the Director of Sales & Marketing you will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for all proactive sales activities and strategy of the property.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all MICE, Corporate, Group & Leisure Sales & Marketing stratgey and business of the property both from overseas & in UK.  New busineness development and account managing.
  • Plan, develop and implement a marketing plan and related business strategy in order to exceed revenue goals, in alignment with my clients mission, vision and values
  • Develop relationships with leisure, MICE, Corporate & entertainment accounts
  • Increase resort exposure by participating in industry trade shows and memberships in key associations
  • Successfully lead the on-property sales team and effecitively liaise with the regional and national sales teams, supporting the hotel portfolio.

 Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience of working at a proactive senior sales level and a proven track record of sales delivery and success.
  • On property sales or global/regional sales essential
  • Previous international & UK sales experience
  • Proactive and ambitious professional
  • Experience of working across all markets Leisure, Groups, MICE and Corporate.
  • Strong team leadership skills
