An impressive career to date, with 18 years of operational, sales & recruitment experience within Travel, Hospitality, Hotels and FMCG sectors.
Louisa started her career as a Sales Consultant for American Dream Holidays, a specialist tour operator tailoring holidays in the United States. Her desire to travel led her to move abroad and enjoy a successful, 10 year career within the international cruise industry.
Based in the United States, Louisa worked onboard the super liners of Carnival Cruise Lines. She held a number of senior operational positions before achieving promotion to Chief Purser, where she was responsible for a multi-cultural team of 20 front office staff, as well as managing all the onboard revenue and onboard guest service issues of up to 3000 guests each cruise.
Louisa eventually returned to the UK, where she worked for a number of top, luxury hotels in central London, including Le Meridien, before further developing her career within hotel sales & marketing recruitment. Working for one of the UK’s leading international hospitality recruitment & executive search companies, becoming a specialist in her field and managing the UK Hotel Sales & Marketing team.
With a genuine desire to make a difference and overcome the stigma often associated with recruitment, Louisa moved on to co-found Purple Eclipse Executive Search & Career Coaching. Focusing on the people, listening, consulting and offering bespoke, individual answers and solutions with real personality are absolutely key!
